Changes

I am thinking about how my life is at the moment. I am thinking about changes... More how to make them... And I came up with this sentence: Sometimes a change in life can be a revolution, sometimes it is an evolution.

Change can be violent and shake the foundations of your life in just one day. One minute... Other times it takes time... I think I am in the middle of an evolution in my life right now. And I know I will be a better and more resourceful person at the other end... The slow process of getting to know myself... I guess it is a lot of soul work let to do too. But I do enjoy it even though there are bumps in the road and I some times get off track... I like these words: Wandering around, lost. Also a title on a song by Cocteau Twins))) I also wrote a poem once that I named exactly that......

I am walking around, lost
Disappearing into the dark again
Fading into grey
Into the nothingness of my own despair

Your words hurt me again
Cutting my wounds wide open
You pull at the chains again
They strangle me
And I choke on my frustration

I try to run away
But I find that I have run right back
To where it all started
And I find no comfort there
Only a cold and painful hatred
Of everything I have become today

I know you must hate yourself
And maybe that’s why you hate me as well
The chains are cutting deep into my flesh
Until I can’t see anything but the pain

The tears burn in my eyes
Your words burn my heart into a pile
Of ash that the wind carries far away
From these streets that are lifeless

Memories of dreams I used to dream
But now lies empty and barren in front of me
I am walking around, lost
Disappearing into the dark again…
